Mahler's Eighth Symphony and world premiere of Rollo Dilworth's new commissioned work. Dilworth's composition will feature "Goin' Home" and "Deep River" in honor of the musical relationship between Antonín Dvorák and Harry Burleigh. Presented by The Canterbury Choral Society in celebration of our 65th Season. Canterbury will be joined by The Monmouth Civic Chorus (Ryan Brandau, artistic director). Featuring youth choirs from St. Hilda's & St. Hugh's School, Brearley School, Trevor School, Special Music School, Spence School, Packer Collegiate School, St. Bart's Church, Trinity Wall Street, Church of the Heavenly Rest, and New Amsterdam Boys and Girls Choir. Soloists include Jennifer Grimaldi, Fredrika Brillembourg, Sara Murphy and Sidney Outlaw. Conducted by Jonathan De Vries in his Carnegie Hall debut.
